Lynn Gerrits
Lead Vocals
Lynn’s passion for singing and performing began at the young age of 10. For 4 decades, that passion was funneled into various school and community choirs and musical theatre. As a lifelong Alto, it was her involvement in both acapella choirs and jazz octets that fed her appreciation, appetite and talent for tight and accurate vocals and harmonies. She did some studio work for a few songwriters in her late teens, which was the extent of her band experience. Finally, in early 2018, Lynn joined The Verge as its female lead singer. Since then, she’s enjoyed the growth the band has taken and continues her own personal growth vocally with numerous other projects, that currently include Gold Dust Refugee and an acoustic duo called Solace. When not singing or working at UMass supporting the well-being of its caregivers, Lynn enjoys time with her husband (her biggest fan), family and friends.
